1. General information
The undergraduate curricula taught at the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences (FCSH) of the University of Zaragoza include the compulsory subject “Degree Final Project" (DFP) of 6 ECTS.
The DFP must verify the acquisition by the student of the general skills and competences proposed in the objectives of the degree, together with the specific and cross-cutting skills specific to the Degree in Psychology studied at the FCSH.

2. Learning results
The objective of the DFP is to show the competences acquired during the academic training in the Degree in Psychology.
As the most relevant learning result the student has to:
1. Be able to search for and select specialized information from different documentary sources (printed, computerized databases , etc.), search in libraries and/or scientific periodicals libraries and plan the search for information.
2. Be able to interpret original academic-scientific texts in psychology.
3. Be able to identify and understand the different empirical methodologies used by psychologists to elaborate the psychological knowledge and their relationships with the different theoretical approaches and with the different fields of specialization.
4. Be able to apply or adopt different perspectives in the interpretation and analysis of psychological problems.
5. Be able to work in a team and in collaboration with other professionals, acquiring the ability to analyse, criticize and value with respect the work of others and their own.
6. Be able to develop the necessary communication skills in the interaction with the addressees of the psychological intervention and others involved.
7. Be able to synthesize and integrate in writing the information on a topic obtained from the consultation of multiple sources knowing how to use them.
8. Be able to prepare psychological reports in different fields of action, addressed to the addressees and to other professionals.
3. Syllabus
The student will enrol in the DFP subject on the dates established by the academic calendar of the University of Zaragoza. This period will be duly informed through the FSCH website.
Once the registration is completed, the student will choose the tutor and the line of work in which to develop their DFP.
If modifications are necessary, at the request of the teacher or the student, they must be approved by the Quality Assurance Committee.

4. Academic activities
The DFP requires, among other aspects, individual tutoring of students throughout the process by the assigned tutor
As soon as the student knows who their tutor is, they should contact them by e-mail, announcing to the teacher that they is going to be their DFP student and showing willingness to start working.
Throughout the development of the DFP, the student must show that they has acquired the competences of the degree. The tutor of the DFP must ensure that the work requested from the student corresponds to a subject of 6 ECTS credits and not to a professional or research work of postgraduate or doctoral student.

5. Assessment system
The three modalities that the DFP of the Degree in Psychology are:
- Systematic theoretical review reports on subjects related to psychology in all its fields.
- Reports on the development of a prevention, intervention or action program or plan for a specific group.
- Reports on empirical research
In order to write the empirical DFP model, students must have the following documents registered with date and code:
1. Approval by the Research Ethics Committee of Aragon (CEICA)
2. The authorization of the Manager of the University of Zaragoza for Data Protection.
3. Informed consents signed by each subject who will participate in the research.
Failure to provide this documentation on the day of submission of the written report will be sufficient reason for the failure of the DFP.
Any of the three types of DFP may achieve the maximum grade, Outstanding 10, which will be awarded solely and exclusively by the tutor.
In addition, all the DFP graded with an Outstanding 9 or higher will be eligible for the grade of Honour before the board designated by the Center, this being an act of public call, on dates to be determined by the FCSH.
